Farewell my loyal friend

It was the end of an era this week when you left me forever
Trubble met you at The Bridge as your last breath and your soul passed over.
My tears drenched your fur as I held you close to allow you to run free with our old friend Trubble.
You were my rock. My everything for so many years. So much we faced together.
We gave each other the courage to face the challenges the world threw at us.

You saved my life when my heart was broken.
Overcame your fear to stand by my side and became my personal protector.
You always knew who should be where around you and were an amazing watch dog
Even deterred two robberies for our neighbours.

You became a star and much loved Australia-wide with more than 1.1 million votes in the competition
To take out second place in South Australia winning so many hearts over.
Never was I so proud of you as the day we stepped into the obedience ring.
A huge achievement for both of us.

Some days you gave me reason to be
I will always love you.
You taught me so much, and the reason I started the White Swiss Shepherd journey.
You were and still are my inspiration to walk this world without fear.
Thank you Merlin for choosing me to be your person my beautiful German Shepherd.
You live in my heart for eternity.
